Bonie is a serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist and philanthropist. Prior to becoming the CEO and MD of BonaventureCo, Bonie a seasoned banker worked in two continents; Africa and North America. In Africa, Bonie worked for CBC Bank Cameroon as a Legal Analyst. In the US he worked at Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank. At Wells Fargo, Bonie was part of a team of Portfolio Managers managing a portfolio of $8+ billion across multiple industries and sectors. Mr. Fon is endowed with and animated by a unique combination of expertise in Investment Banking, Corporate Credit and Corporate Law.

Bonie holds an LL.B (Honors) in Law from University of Buea at Buea, an LL.M in Law from McGeorge School of Law at Sacramento where his researched on and published his thesis titled  The Politicization of the Cameroon Judicial System”; an synthesis of the complex nature of the Cameroon judiciary, its complicated relationship with other arms of government and how these issues affect doing business and the rule of law. Mr. Fon received an MBA in Finance from the Christian liberal arts university of Saint Mary at Leavenworth graduating Summa Cum Laude and Class Valedictorian. His MBA thesis part researched in Tokyo, Japan examined in-depth Corporate Strategy using Starbucks Coffee Company as case study.  Bonie’s MBA thesis was voted best research project among his peers. Mr. Fon  holds a diploma in Investment Banking from the Investment Banking Institute of San Francisco (IBI-SF).


Godson Udeh is an investment banker with Wells Fargo Securities M&A Group. He is responsible for deal structuring and execution in the Industrials, Healthcare and Technology sectors. Godson also worked as Project Manager in the Power Generation Business at Cummins Inc., wherein he led cross-functional teams in new product introduction programs which oversaw products evolution from chart phase to full production. At Cummins Inc., Godson is credited with designing a company-wide organizational resource allocation model that focused on the accuracy of planning resource requirements on global projects. Mr. Udeh also worked as a Senior Engineer supporting units across the globe a role in which he was instrumental in defining strategy, planning and execution of several business acquisitions.

Godson holds an MBA in Finance from the elite and prestigious Booth School Of Business (University of Chicago), a MSc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He also holds FINRA S 63 and S 79 securities licenses.


Samuel Abankwa is a Quantitative Analytics Consultant with Wells Fargo Bank’s Corporate Market and Institutional Risk Group. Samuel supports trading desk risk oversight. Samuel’s doctorate research and dissertation focused on the effects of liquidity risk on asset returns. Prior to his current role, Dr. Abankwa was a Quantitative Finance Analyst at Bank of America where he specialized in liquidity modeling and enterprise stress testing. He also worked as an engineer for Philip Morris USA, Procter and Gamble, and British American Tobacco.

Samuel is the holder of a PhD in Finance from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a MSc. in Mathematical Finance from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a MEng. in Industrial Engineering from Florida A&M University, a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Science & Technology at Kumasi. Dr. Abankwa also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt (License #: 7451).
